The Joys of Boys

We have not really discussed the fact that there is a baby in Mommy's tummy with Chase. To be honest, him knowing terrifies me because I simply could not handle us telling him and then something happening to this baby. I know that both our parents are eager for us to tell him only because that means that they could then discuss this phenomenon with him. However, the actual telling will just have to wait.

Now we have discussed that one day he will have a baby brother or sister and which would he like? Basically he doesn't care as long as the baby is happy and laughs. He does not want a crying baby, those are no fun. So last night we were all upstairs when we asked Chase what we would name a baby if he were to have a baby sister? He promptly informed me that girls are princesses so she would be named, "Cinderella." Stifling my giggles I asked what we would name a baby brother and he said that boys are knights so he would be named, "Baby Knight." I have a feeling we are seriously going to have to work on names before this new baby arrives!

1) the joys of having a boy!
2) indoor plumbing (yep, I'm grateful for it!)
3) electricity (pretty darn grateful for that too)
4) a nice weekend
5) Spring Break has arrived (and only 51 days of school left when we go back!)

    Hi Kahla, Thanks for the comment. We are right together in our pregnancy. We are going to think good thoughts and know that our Raspberries/olives are going to be alright. ((HUGS))

    Oh those are such cute names! He is better at naming them then some celebrities I have to say but I definitely would work on them. I totally understand you wanting to wait to tell him. He is going to be SO excited when you do.
